Finally

So i was beginning to forget i had a blog until one of my friends, who shall remain nameless, told me i need to update my **** blog. The title "FInally" can stand for me "finally" updating the blog, us "finally" taking a vacation (oh three months ago, time for a new one) and "finally" moving into our house. Growing up i used to be GREAT at writing in my journal. I blame it on the computer, im too stupid to memorize how to update everything. It's been a crazy four months to say the least! I dont feel like going into huge detail on everything, because its too hot for me to even think right now, but here is what we've been up too. We went with my family to California for Spring Break and it was SO much fun. We went to Knotts Berry Farm (kinda ghetto) but LOVED it. I thought it was going to be so much fun having Karson go on all the rides, oh wait, he was scared to even go on the log ride. We almost had him on a roller coaster that went upside down, he was in line with us, and we made sure his back was to the ride.. but right in that last second he turned around and saw that it went upside down and yelled "Im outta here!" .. Lame. We also went to the beach. My favorite place in the WORLD. And even though it was the middle of March I made myself get in the Ocean. If any of you couples want to go to Cali this summer, hit me up. I WILL be making Cj take me sometime! ha.

We moved into our house that we've been in a short sale with since NOVEMBER. It was the hugest joke trying to get approved and moved in on time, but well worth the wait! Cj likes to tell everyone that we live in Circle G in gilbert, because we "back up" to it. Really we live about a mile away. I guess we are on the same side of the street though? Haha our house is just a LITTLE bit bigger than the box we were living in before, but i LOVE it. Its ours, and I couldn't be happier! We got a huge lot 1/4 an acre, but just cant seem to get the weeds out of the rocks. The house was PERFECT when we first walked through it. I guess five months took its toll?! It keeps us busy though, with Lawns and Painting the garage, and decorating! Thats about all we've been up too i guess.. Just lovin life!! ( I tell Cj i am quitting my job probably everyday of my life. He tells me I'm crazy. Thats how much i love my life of work) :/

Monster Jam

So CJ and I went with our good friends Kyle&Brook, and Brodie&Lindsay to Monster Jam this last Saturday night. I know you're all thinking WHAT?! Because thats what I was thinking when CJ told me he bought tickets. In my mind I was thinking "only WIERDO people go there!" But actually it was soo much fun, and you know we will be back next year! Its actually a funny story. Brook bought Kyle tickets for Christmas, so Kyle asked CJ and Brodie if we would want to come, thinking it would be so funny. Well CJ and I were totally down, but Brodie goes "Dude we're already going!" haha i guess they have gone every year? So now its going to be tradition! It was way cool to watch these huge trucks race, and then do "freestyle" and run cars over and do jumps! Cant wait for next year!!

Two Years..

Well.. CJ and I have officially been "dating" for TWO years as of yesterday!! (Yes for those of you who know us too well, we did take a 2-3 month vacation from one another during the two years.) It was much needed for ME to grown up. Nice that i take responsibility for getting dumped huh?! Oh those were the days.. CJ seriously tried to break up with me 15 times, and after I threw a couple fits, including biting him, we got right back together. Those three months were THE. WORST. Anyway, I hate those break up days. Funny how i wrote in my journal about the first day i met him.. I was obsessed like a little girl. Well i guess it worked, because he sure is my cutest husband now! I am such a lucky girl because i get TWO anniversarys all because i wrote in my journal. Haha we just went to dinner. Its funny how you feel like you are SO in love when you start dating and get married, and that it cant get any better than that, but it DOES!! Not that i know anything, we've only been married for about 6 months, but i love this boy more and more everyday. I am the luckiest girl in the world! Here are just a few of the reasons why i Love CJ: 1. I love waking up to his cute face every morning. 2. I love how on mornings he has to get up earlier than i do his alarm goes off 15 times before he actually gets up, and i am still trying to sleep! 3. I love how every morning when i am STILL trying to sleep he wants to cuddle me before he gets up. 4. I love how when he gets home from work he walks into our TINY living quarters and yells "ELF! Im home!! Come kiss me!" 5. I love how he tells me how "hot" I am when im sitting in my pajamas and i have my retainers on. yeahhh right. 6. I love how when i am so mad at him, and its totally my fault, he's still the one that says he's sorry and that he loves me. 7. I love and hate how hard he works for us. He is the hardest worker i know. And sometimes i throw fits because he's never home, but he's doing it for US he has to remind me. 8. I love all the stupid names he calls me, including elf, turtle, dobb, bambi.. oh they just get worse. 9. I love how no matter how much i let myself down, he's always there for me, telling me how amazing i am as a wife. (I suck at cooking!) 10. I love him for who he is, and what he makes me!! I feel so lucky to have him for ever!! Annnd the point of this post was to say that I am soo glad I decided to go camping two years ago!!

Payson!!

After a VERY busy week for CJ, putting in 60-70 hours, Friday rolled around and we got the invite to go up to Payson and spend the long weekend at my sister-in-laws cabin. I should probably add that it wasnt a busy week for me, CJ thinks i just sleep my life away, so it makes him feel good when i tell him he's busy:).. He seriously is the hardest worker i know! But, we were both just as excited to leave Mesa and spend time up in the freezing cold. Friday night we left around 9:30 with Kody and Mary and seriously spent the next day sleeping and watching movies. Although we did manage to make it into the little town of Christopher Creek to load up on fun dips, snickers, laffy taffys, and circus peanuts! CJ was ticked at my candy spree but i didnt care. We were on VACATION! Saturday night my parents, Mallory, Jaden, Karson, and Karson's friend Colton came up and it made it so much fun! We spent the night playing cards, running into Payson for "Date Night at Taco Bell," and Telling the little boys "they better not look out the window because Bloody Mary watches through windows and will come and get them." My mom was so mad at us, and made sure they knew which rooms to run into if they got scared in the middle of the night. Karson just ended up on the couch with Mallory, and the next morning Colt-Dawg kept saying how tired he was because he had to stay awake and make sure "Bloody Mary" didnt come! It was so funny! It was such a fun trip, riding quads, playing Scum (which i always dominate at!), and hanging out with the family.. a perfect three day weekend!

All of us went on a quad ride except Mal one morning. Kody and Mary had slowed down waiting for the rest of us, and hear clicking.. Kody looked back to see the last lug nut fall off the back tire!! So scary!!
We left CJ with the Raptor, Kody drove one of the quads home to get tools, and the Mary and I took the little kids to see the snowman and play in the snow! We got bored after about 5 mins and ended up driving back to the broken quad... like this.

NeW yORk!

On Christmas Day we were able to go to New York with CJ's family. It was THE most fun vacation I have ever been on! New York is AMAZING!! Cj's sister Heather lives there, and as a christmas gift she flew the entire family to New York to see her new home. We were planning on staying in her apartment, which would have been just great with us, but she tells us that she booked a room at the Ritz Carlton for four of us!! Like really?! Cj kept warning me "Savanna, dont get used to this!" haha.. Anyways, along with that, we had a limo pick us up from the airport and with Dawn and Heather being as generous as they are, we didnt have to pay for a thing! Thats my kind of vacation! We saw all the sights and of course ate new york pizza for every meal! It was so much fun spending time with CJ's side of the family. We had a blast visiting New York and loved every minute of our vacation! Sorry I went a little crazy with the pictures!

So CJ had been begging for someone to go to Wall Street with him the entire time we were there, so on the last day Hayden, Hunter, and I decided to be good sports and go with him. We walked two miles at about 8:00 am to hear the Wall street bell or whatever, and oh guess what? The public CANT EVEN GO IN THE BUILDING!! CJ was devastated! It was still cool to see everything though.

And the last night we went to the Empire State Building! It was so cool, I was kinda tripping out though.. It was making my knees weak being so high!!

November

The month of November sure has been a busy one for us! We've been busy with school, work and family! On occasion, when i am on my best behavior, or CJ is in the dog house, my husband likes to take me to lunch.. because i tell him all the time i live to eat so he knows I will be in a good mood for at LEAST an hour afterwards. On this particular lunch outing we decided to go to Red Robin. I have loved that place since one of my best friends showed me the "Bottomless" fries in the 8th grade. Anyways we live out by San Tan mall and there is a Red Robin right there. So we ate and of course loved it, and as a side note we had the BEST waitress in the world.. non-stop fries, drinks, anything! We pulled our money together and gave her the best tip our poor newlywed lives could afford. So after lunch we are walking to the car and CJ opens the door for me and I get in, as CJ is walking around the car something starts hissing at him.. Well lo and behold an OWL was perched on the tree right in front of our car! It was crazy.. It would hiss every time we got close to it! I think its his house, because like i said i love food so we are out there a lot and every time we have been back the Owl has been there too! Crazy huh??

On a day that CJ and I both didnt have school the next day we decided we were going to go on a Jeep ride. CJ has been BEGGING me to go out in my Dad's jeep. Let me tell you that i HATE the thing. About a year ago CJ and I went on a jeep ride in Bull Dog Canyon with some of his friends and i truthfully didn't think we were going to make it out alive. It was so rocky and i just knew we were going to flip over!! I will reiterate to you that i am fun. I'm usually down for stuff like this, i love the outdoors and driving around with the windows down just chillin. Well after watching one of his friends truck almost flip over, teetering on TWO wheels and knowing that we had to pass over that SAME spot i no longer have a love for that stupid jeep anymore. I want to get rid of it. On this day in november, ike i said, CJ had been begging me to go on a ride, and he promised me that it wouldnt be bumpy, and it would only be a couple hours. He wanted to go around Four Peaks so we jump in the jeep and off we went. It wasn't too bad, although he did get some dirty looks from me when i bounced up and down a couple times. Well two hours passed, then three, then four, we made it to the top of Four Peaks and it was GORGEOUS. I couldnt get enough of it!! So forgetting that we had been driving FOREVER i started to love it, probably because we were out of the jeep at this point and i forgot we would have to get back in it and drive the same amount of time to get OUT of the mountains. Well after taking pictures, my fun ended and back to that wretched jeep we went. THIS time he wanted to go down the backside by Roosevelt Lake. We. Ended. Up. In. GLOBE. It was the longest night of my life! Haha i know i sound ticked, but it really was such a long bumpy drive.. Although i would do it again anytime. It was totally worth it to spend some time with my husband and just enjoy each others company.

Thanksgiving was also such a fun day! We started out at my parents house with my family, ate and ate and ate, went over to CJ's grandmas house to spend time with his Dad and then made our way to his mom's house and had dinner! It was so good to just hang out and spend time with family! I feel so blessed to have such an amazing family and husband! Thanksgiving was quite the hit with Hailee down from school.. I forget how weird we are together!

Happy Late Halloween Everyone!! So this last weekend Husband and I had so much fun!! I think growing up Halloween was always my favorite holiday.. all i had to do was knock on my neighbors front door and they would give me treats! And being the candy lover I am, nothing could beat this holiday! Well.. Since my Dad wouldnt let me trick or treat after eighth grade because i am "freakishly tall" as my family likes to call it, I've had to find other means to entertain myself over this fun holiday.. I think FRONT ROW SUNS TICKETS does the trick! Did you get that? FRONT ROW?!! Ok.. So it wasn't exactly on Halloween night, but this last Friday night we went to the Suns game with our good friends Ryan and Dallyn Willis. Dallyns family gets seasons tickets to these AMAZING seats, and let me just tell you, Corwin and I couldnt get over it! The game was SO much fun.. We got free food and were able to go to this "club" sort of thing where only certain seats were able to go and got drinks and popcorn and cookies and just everything.. FOR FREE!! And the best part about it, as we were waiting in line for the employees to check our tickets to make sure we were allowed into the club, i recognized the checker of tickets as my Nursing Teacher for block one! haha it was great.. I was all "Remember ME?!" like i was super important or something.. SO that was our amazing Friday night..

Saturday with the help of my mother because as of right now our oven doesnt work, i decided i would whip up a little treat for CJ since we cant trick or treat.. Please note the little spiders crawling up the sides of the wrapping.. too cute huh?? Halloween night We carved pumpkins with Ryan and Dallyn.. and let me tell you a story.. I have learned a lot about my husband since getting married. Anyways, we buy our pumpkins and take them home and i walk into our room to set my purse down, and i walk out and i see Ryan and Dallyn washing their pumpkin in our sink. RIGHT away i knew CJ had washed our pumpkin first, while i was in the other room and that Ryan and Dallyn felt stupid NOT washing their pumpkin so being obligated to follow suit, they scrubbed their pumpkin! I was dying!! So i asked them if they had ever scrubbed their pumpkins before, and of course they say NO.. WHO scrubs their pumpkins after they buy it, before they are going to CARVE it anyways? Only my Husband. Sure love him though! After that we went to my parents house to see Karson and Jaden go trick or treating, secretly wishing I could join them.. Jaden was miss america and Karson was a pirate! They both looked darling.. Karson had a friend going trick or treating with them, i call him Colt dawg.. anyways, the Hidden Groves put on a little BBQ before everyone went off trick or treating and you could win Soda Pop. So im walking back to our house, with Colton, because my little brother took off with out him, only worried about getting as much candy as he can (sounds familiar) and Colton is having the hardest time keeping all his liters of pop in his hands, while holding his mask, his candy bag and a chair. So i go "Colt Dawg, do you want me to help you carry your pop?" He goes "NO. I got it.." So we keep walking and he's basically dropping his pop on the street. SO again i ask him, "Colt Dawg, Do you want me to help you carry your pop? I promise i wont take it, and ill give it right back to you once we get to our house.. and he goes "YES! As long as you'll give it back to me!" haha he thought i was going to steal his pop that he won!! i got a kick out of it! So anyways.. That was our weekend! It was way fun, even though we were lame and didnt dress up!
